Visit to Yamakawa in Kyoto

On January 25, 2018, my research brought me to Yamakawa in Kyoto (http://asa-yamakawa.com/). Yamakawa was established in the 18th year of the Meiji period, or 1885. The current CEO, Yamakawa Masahiko is the 5th generation in his family to manage the business. They manufacture a variety of hemp products for shrines and temples, in particular suzuo, the hempen ropes that hang from bells.
